Code of Conduct

The Board discussed and voted on the following Code of Conduct to be utilized by all Corn Fed Spartans on the Corn Fed Spartans Facebook group page.

In order to keep this page orderly, positive, and motivating, the board has instituted a code of conduct for this page.

Posts will be deleted if they meet one of the following criteria:

1. Outright attacking remarks to another member
2. Humiliation of a member
3. Continued ‘negative’ or statements that continue to fuel the fire once a post has been answered
4. Advertising of any kind not authorized (including active recruiting for other teams), in writing, by the Board.
5. Be respectful of every team member…we are all equals here. Any sign of disrespect can result in removal.
6. Posts degrading to women, men, or children will not be tolerated.

The Board of Directors will make the decision as to whether a post will be deleted and the member will be contacted to explain why the post is being deleted.

In the event there are continued abusive posts from a member, the Board reserves the right to take further action.

We will also adhere to the Facebook EULA of: “You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user. You will not post content that: is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.”

If these types of posts are occurring, each member within the group has the right and the ability to report such posts to Facebook directly. This type of behavior is not welcomed here, nor will it be tolerated.

At present time, the Corn Fed Spartans Facebook group page is administered by all Board Members as well as members currently on the Member Services Committee. Please remember, in addition to these members having access to remove posts, the original poster also has the ability to remove their own posts and/or comments.

Proposal – This Code of Conduct continue to be used and enforced. Enforcing the code of conduct will be tasked to the Board and any post found in violation of one of these rules will be voted on by the Board members to be removed. The “further action” part at the end does mean that if someone is continuously violating our rules, we will vote on having that person removed from the Corn Fed Spartans Facebook group page entirely.
